The Timber Fire continues to burn approximately 15.5 miles southeast of Preserve property and is mapped at approximately 4,044 acres with 7% containment. Air resources and 1,405 personnel continue to support firefighting efforts.

CAL FIRE is requesting to use Moore’s Lake and other nearby water resources for fire suppression for the duration of the fire. As a safety precaution, the CSD and Security have closed the Moore’s Lake area until further notice.

Preserve Emergency Services continues to monitor the fire and changing conditions and remains in contact with fire officials.

At this time, there is no threat to the Preserve, and there are no evacuation warnings or orders affecting Preserve property.

Preserve Evacuation Zones

For reference, Preserve property falls within the following Monterey County evacuation zones:

MRY-D023, MRY-D034, MRY-D042, MRY-D043, MRY-D058, and MRY-D075

IN THE EVENT OF AN EVACUATION

Evacuation Warning – typically given a minimum of 48 hours in advance. This warning allows you time to make preparations for the care and security of valuables and your property in general.  If you have special needs that require advanced preparation, this is the time to prepare to leave the property.
